This quick and easy marinade is a delicious and healthy way to enjoy salmon for baking or grilling. The simple combination of lemon, honey, garlic, and herbs creates a flavorful and balanced taste that complements the salmon perfectly. Ready in just 5 minutes!

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon olive oil

¼ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice

1 teaspoon lemon zest

2 tablespoons honey

1 garlic clove, grated

1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions:

In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, honey, grated garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.

Place your salmon fillets in a shallow dish or resealable bag. Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring all pieces are well coated.

Marinate the salmon in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for deeper flavor.

Once ready to cook, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) for baking or prepare your grill for medium heat.

For baking: Transfer the salmon fillets to a baking dish lined with parchment paper. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until cooked through and flaky.

For grilling: Grill the salmon fillets for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked through and slightly charred.

Serve the salmon immediately with your favorite sides and enjoy!

Tips:

Use fresh, high-quality salmon for the best results.

Marinate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to develop.

Reserve some of the marinade for basting the salmon while cooking (optional).

Adjust the amount of honey to your preference for sweetness.

For a thicker marinade, reduce the amount of vegetable broth.

Substitute fresh herbs like dill or thyme for parsley.
